Just to be so glad I’m into discovering more fashion styles this year, though getting to know new things is the hardest obstacle when you try to master them.
The statement about age is so important! 💗 I have always been into alternative styles and wore it proudly until I went through quite the toxic relationship in my early 20s. This person would subtly insult my style despite it being what attracted them to me in this first place. This was caused by an underlying issue of this person just being incredibly insecure and trying to drag me down so they could feel more secure. Long story short, I ended up selling 90% of my collections from my j brand clothing, plushies, and nostalgic toys so I could be "mature grown adult with minimalism grey style". All this did was drag me deeper in the trenches and I lost myself more than ever. Luckily I removed this person from my life and slowly things started growing around me again and I started finding my way back to what I originally love at 27 :') and though I'm slowly rebuilding my collection back, I do regret getting rid of so much of my collection because ow scalpers and inflated prices lol rip. Some of my favorite adult role models are the ones who didn't lose their whimsy, joy, and expressed themselves outside the box!!! 💕 So to anyone reading, Truly, never let anyone change who you are! You are worth so much more!

I really want to know what you do for work because I am 19 and don't think I'll be able to afford to live in jfashion until my 30s 😭

I am 37 years old, I will be 38 this year in November and I've never stopped loving cute, pink things, and anime <3 So as someone much older I'm going to tell you it's not scary at all, it's really in your mind and perhaps the thoughts of what other people say but you never have to stop loving what you love. Don't let other people convince you otherwise. I don't think I'll ever stop loving anime and cute things.
