EzSVG lets you draw your own custom graphics on a Q-SYS touch panel, and almost nobody knows it’s there. I taught Claude how to use it, and it built a live EQ curve right on the touch screen.
Q-SYS draws a beautiful parametric EQ curve inside Designer, but you can’t put it on a touch panel. EzSVG is a free, open-source drawing toolkit that QSC built right into Q-SYS. It can draw circles, rectangles, lines, curves, text and colors, live, on a touch panel. Claude barely knew it existed, so we trained it first, then handed over the keys.
This isn’t just for EQs. Status screens, level meters, room diagrams: if you can picture it, you can probably draw it with EzSVG.
💬 What would YOU build with it? Let me know in the comments.

Not exactly a secret but very powerful.
I really like it for lots of visualization.
I made a Claude Skill that includes QSC's documentation for all the Q-Sys Lua extensions and a short guide on how to build plugin UIs and with Opus 5.5 that is enough to oneshot any Device Plugin I want…as long as I provide the devices communication protocol to Claude.
Last fall I needed 3 weeks to build a plugin for a Behringer X32.
Last week I needed half a day to let Claude build a plugin for a Yamaha DM3 and a few hours to test & debug it.
Amazing and scary at the same time.
I drew some rta graphs, projector screen graphic, circular illumination motion graphics to highlight the selected control page buttons, logo animation during system start up… this is so much fun to use!
