President Trump’s approval rating has fallen to its lowest level yet in a new poll by The Financial Times. The poll found that just 33% of registered voters approve of Trump’s performance as president with less than two months to go until the midterms. According to the poll, voters’ worsening view of the economy and cost of living is to blame for Trump’s falling numbers. The Morning Joe panel discusses this latest poll that POLITICO’s Jonathan Martin calls ‘a recipe for a wipeout’ in the November midterms.

Obviously Republicans have zero interest in anything but exploiting maximum advantage at all times, so why should Democrats be conciliatory in that particular way? That's especially so considering how it turned out last time. Has anyone forgotten a certain Obama appointed Republican FBI director's throwing of the election to Trump in 2016?

If anyone thinks he and his impotent congress intend to allow a fair election in November, you are in for a major disappointment. They’ve been doing this crazy stuff because they do not intend to leave office much less be held accountable in any way.
We’ve allowed this to go too far now, it’s unlikely we come back from it at this point. This is exactly what the founding fathers were worried would happen. They hoped later generations would not be fooled by someone like trump, but they probably did not realize a whole political party would want to destroy our democracy. But here we are.
I voted for Harris and a straight Blue ticket in 2024. When we lost the WH and Congress, I shored up on Big Oil holdings because I knew Trump and Republicans would help out their BO buddies. And they did. My profits this year cover a whole lot more than higher gas prices. The dividends I'm getting just in September from Big Oil cover a whole year of gas for me because I drive a car with good gas mileage and walk to places.
I love it when trailer park Trump voters are hurting from his policies and I profit from their stupidity because I could see coming what they couldn't.

Do not underestimate the stOOpidity and racism of the republican voters. They can lose healthcare, get paid $3 an hour, pay $7/gallon gas, not be able to afford beef or eggs, not get any assistance but they will still vote for whoever wants to send immigrants out. That is their main thing.

So let this sink in. The US deficit has grown by 3.8 trillion dollars in the past 19 months that trump has been present for his second term. He’s got 28 months left. So at that rate he could add another 5.6 trillion to the deficit by the time he leaves office.
