Drew lock played great against STARTERS in preseason. He looked sharp! Whenever he had to come in for Geno he did well also. Darnold did great in the playoffs but leading up to the playoffs he made some awful mistakes. Let's be honest, Seattle rides their defense and run game anyway. Saying the Seahawks are done if Drew had to play the whole season is extremely short-sighted. If you think your team is gonna beat the Seahawks just 'cause Darnold isn't in there you're in for a rude awakening. I'm glad I got to see Drew play in a "real" game and I'll be glad to see him start one next week also. Then I'll look forward to seeing Darnold when he's 100% ready to play. The Pats were crushing it until they started making their own mistakes. It seemed like it was more about their QB than ours.
I think, regardless of whether he was cleared or not to go next week I think they still would’ve held them out. There’s no need to put him out there and get him re-hurt or make the injury that he already has worse. I’m just glad he didn’t fracture his hip or anything extra tear knee because the way he landed and his knee went down man. He could’ve tore every ligament in his knee or broke his ankle or something. This is a great move for the Seahawks. You can trust Drew lock to hold it down for a week or two nothing more than that in my personal opinion and there’s no pressure on Drew lock because of how good that defense is.
That’s fine one more week.
With the next two secondaries Seattle is playing don’t be surprised if drew lock top 5 in qb stats by week 3 and they already said Darnold injury should just be couple games
