Those "cures" at the end are worse and more horrific than the anomaly, especially since the anomaly is not apparently common. I know its a joke, but open trenches of sewage and that horrific "medical" procedure are insane and beyond horrifying. Also, using those trenches would just put the ghost there, and I hope I don't need to explain why that "procedure" is a no go.
