There’s a massive clue in their entire dogma of “personal responsibility” and “pull yourself up by your bootstraps”, i.e. “we’re not going to do anything for you”. The two concepts are also a fig leaf to cover for countless examples of GOP incompetent governance at state and Federal levels. Don’t think that makes the Dems a great choice either. Corporate and billionaire campaign financing must go and lobbying should be criminalised for the corrupt practice it has always been.
