Six Gen Z voters in the swing state of Wisconsin spoke with MS NOW’s Maya Eaglin about the state of our country today. The discuss the struggling economy, AI taking entry level jobs and distrust in elected politicians. This candid conversation shows a wide range of opinions from conservative and liberal voters, at a time when both parties are gearing up to try and win over the youngest voting bloc for the midterm elections. Gen Z political moral is low with only 13% of them believing the country is on the right track, and 68% say politicians are motivated by selfish reasons, according to a new Harvard Youth Poll.

It was interesting when asked for opinions regarding success of both parties, that virtually all see both parties failing. I of course believe the same. Our leaders are worthless. The one gentleman in the green shirt nailed it when he said, we vote for the lesser of two evils (aside from party hacks who will blindly vote their parity regardless). Today, our country succeeds in spite of our leaders not because of our leaders.
5:23 this is why we need proportional representation (where if a party gets 30% of the vote, it gets 30% of the seats). It would make it easier for third, fourth, and fifth parties to get elected!
Climate change, affordability, destroying voting rights, tearing down the free and impartial media, housing prices, losing our reputation among the world . . . The world will burn and it is our children and grandchildren who will suffer.
The woman moving down South is in for a treat! Cost of living may be lower but sadly she will pay in other ways
What they fail to realize is that immigrants have what they have off the strength of the fight brought forth by Black Americans …
Trump and his admin have done NOTHING to help any American like he promised all during his campaign, when are we gonna stop letting these people tell us what we want to hear then do the opposite in office, president, congressperson, senator even at the state level
I personally believe the dems care more about the people than the rep ever have, don’t get me wrong dems have their issues but I’d argue that if u go back to the George h w bush admin was the last time a republican president did anything to help Americans, almost every bill/law passed that actually helped everyday Americans were from democrats, do the research
Well dressed, good posture and yet still clueless.
Delusional
Critical thinking skills: not this group’s strong suit. Oy.
WE ALL NEED JESUS 🤷🏿
Gen Z is brainwashed like the remainder of the 'merican people. We built this on NOT LOVING ONE ANOTHER. GEN Z don't sound like they listened to Barney 🤷🏿
If you hate the oppressed and love your oppressor, don't complain about having a lower standard of living than your parents.
Indian kid is confused
Not one of them used the word corrupt to describe the current administration? Here’s my one word to describe this panel: naive.
Of course the conservative wouldn't shut up
Pretending hatred doesn't exist is ridiculous…
Start by voting against hatred, you can build anything from there as long as that's not your base.
It’s absolutely not their fault, but between Covid, and the invention of the job title of “influencer”, the Gen Z kids was at a disadvantage out of the gate. Covid & Social Media taught the kids that life wasn’t real if it wasn’t posted or tweeted or texted, and have lost the nuance of speech. It’s hard to recognize sarcasm or intonation to explain the intent. ❤.
That a Genz why they look like Genx
Kamala was a successful AG, Senator and Vice President. Please explain how she was less qualified than Trump.
Trump admin being described as strong has to be the furthest definition of what it actually is. It's just an orange man that's mainly bypassing congress.
No blacks invited to the discussio, wow. This is NOT how America looks.
Do these youth understand the conservatives are monopolizing the heck out of our country right now?
