TOTAL RESPECT! the baby gate when doing the top…I was trying to figure how to feel safe when I do mine. And a jig, 2×4 angle guide, and painters tape to hold while gluing. Why is no one else doing that? Well done!

Don't use the line to locate the balusters, use the plumb dot. The line will only work if you're dead perpendicular to the rail.

A pro doesn’t need painters tape lol. Just drill through a pencil mark. You can use a 2×4 as support when working alone! I preferred the consistency of wood- each to his/her own… e for energy…
