An outstanding start to the new Bundesliga season! FC Bayern claimed a 5-1 (1-0) victory over VfB Stuttgart in Friday evening’s opening match at the Allianz Arena. In a high-quality, intense and hard-fought encounter, Dayot Upamecano (21st minute) gave Bayern the lead. After Josha Vagnoman equalised for Stuttgart (52′), the Munich side struck twice within just two minutes through Michael Olise (55′) and a Vagnoman own goal (57′) to make it 3-1. In the closing stages, Aleksandar Pavlović (82′) and Luis Díaz (90+2′) added further goals to seal an emphatic 5-1 win.
Captain Manuel Neuer made his 600th competitive appearance for FC Bayern against Stuttgart.

In my opinion it's impossible to definitely name the best player of the this match. Michael Olise has been officially recognized as the best – he scored a goal, restoring Bayern's lead immediately after the opponent equalized, and also took an active part in organizing the fourth goal – provided an pre-assist and as a result his contribution was deemed key. However, in my view, Joshua Kimmich deserves it more – he played very well, intercepted the ball in time and found his teammates in dangerous areas, made two assists – this is the main reason to praise him and applaud his contribution and usefulness in the match
P.S. what a start in Bundesliga for the Moroccan… Saibari put on a show – after coming on as a substitute and playing for just over half an hour he immediately made an impression and provided two brilliant assists that led to two goals.
