  1. The best thing i saw today was a person that said "at least she didn't strangle her kids in the basement today". I think there are bigger things to worry about than a female in a commercial for a gambling site. Lets look at the real issues going on. Womens mental health. Women being gaslighted in medical offices. The issues that need attention not because a woman in shorts does a gambling commercial.

  2. First off, let's start by saying that The View is a woke joke. Women have not been fighting the sexualization of women's sports because women are the ones who sexualize it. No one forces the women in track and field, gymnastics, beach volleyball, diving, water polo, tennis, boxing, etc… to compete with their butt cheeks exposed for all the world to see. Alycia Baumgardner boxes wearing a G-string. Even some of the women in the WNBA pull up the legs of their shorts and tuck it into their undergarments because they want to show more leg. So stop with the lies and BS! They actually make excuses for not dressing modestly. The women in track and field use the excuse of less chaffing and less wind resistance, meanwhile Keely Hodgkinson won her race by 2 seconds at Athlos London wearing a full body suit, and she set a new record. I've never seen Sydney McLaughlin run with her butt cheeks exposed and she's one of the fastest women ever. The German women's gymnastics team wore unitards at the 2020 and 2024 Olympics because they realized they don't need to be showing their butt cheeks while competing and got flack for doing so. Sydney Sweeney's ad reinforces nothing that wasn't already enforced by the female athletes themselves. Her ad was about sports betting, not women in sports! Was it an unnecessary ad, yes. Does it reflect women in sports, no, unless you look at from the standpoint that women in sports deliberately try to show off as much skin as possible because they like the attention and feel it will bring in more male viewers. If women don't want to be sexualized in sports, maybe they should start with what they wear while competing in sports! Also, Sydney sweeney has played various sports in school, so she is also an athlete. Do your research. She decided to do acting for a living instead of sports. The left will always try to make excuses when members of their party do they same thing they are complaining about. No one had a problem with Serena Williams, Rhonda Rousey, Sue Bird, Megan Rapinoe, etc…, posing nude for ESPN. Also, there is nothing wrong with gambling if that's what people want to do, it's not physically hurting anyone.

  3. Before Sidney was an actor she At age 18, she entered her first grappling tournament. With no other women in her division, she competed against men in a higher weight class and won first place. Her active fighting and sparring eventually stopped when major acting roles, such as Euphoria and The Handmaid's Tale, introduced studio contract clauses prohibiting risky combat sports due to potential injury. She returned to intensive combat training to portray professional boxer Christy Martin in an upcoming biographical film.

  4. It's disconcerting about how many women take issue with the fact that Sidney Sweeney is supposed to desecrate female sports, but nobody seems to have a problem with the subject of the ad itself: betting. The fact that there can be commercials of this is just as wrecking as commercials for smoking or alcohol. It's addictive and has the potential to destroy lives. Everyone seems to have a stick in this argument, but almost all are hitting the wrong subject.

  5. Brother believe me when people see athletes like Serena Williams posting photos like they said NO ONE is thinking wow look at this person’s athletic ability

  6. I don't buy the argument that 'It's ok if athletes do it' that's totally laughable. EVERY SINGLE COMMERCIAL you watch is trying to manipulate you, whether it's the whole mingling friends thing, or mixed families, or making food look better than what you actually get. This is an ad for sports betting, and it's DEFINITELY going to get men's attention to the site.

  7. Maybe we could stroll back in time to those View episodes where the hosts berated those female athletes appearing in the ESPN Body Issue wearing little or no clothing. Wait, the hosts weren't outraged about Serena and Venus Williams, Meg Rapinoe, Sue Bird, Abby Wambach, Hope Solo, Candace Parker, or Katelyn Ohashi? Interesting, an actress undressed in a betting ad is bad for women in sports, but actual women in sports undressed in a sports publication is not bad. The constant hypocrisy of The View is hilarious!

  8. Get married your gambling, go drive on the freeway its a gamble etc. Most gamblers don't do it much and do have control. Like fast food places, most that go don't have eating problems.
