Why were their faces blurred?? Don’t protect their identity, they attacked a man.
I did some checking. Per an independent witness he said the young guys looked like they were looking for people to beat up. Another witness, a lady said, these gangs of riders would be going 50 or so miles an hour and almost hitting pedestrians. They'd ride up on them real fast and didn't like the fact that they'd have to slow down for the slower people and decide to attack them.
I live here, and I know damn well this is true
You start smoking these people then this will stop. My Dad always said make an example of one everyone else will fall in line.
Parents need to ask themselves what do want for your kid? It might be California but it’s still America. They are going to cross the wrong one eventually. If this guy had started blasting against a crowd beat down and I was on his jury, not guilty. Could anyone blame him? That is a life threatening situation inside an unprovoked assault. Night , night.

This is a straight up lie. I was riding right behind them about 10 yards and they got water thrown at them and instead of him keeping going he threw his bike down and approached the kids challenging them to fight being the aggressor he’s a liar POs he tried to fight little kids and they messed him up he ran up on them and he didn’t fall off his scooter. He legit threw it down 15 yards after getting hit and ran up on them challenging them to fight. He’s the problem.

Gotta say. I've never seen a fight break out due to be told to slow down. We're humans- we love to believe that everything happens spontaneously and without cause.
Can we please STOP with that stupid "allegedly" label. Save it for when someone is arrested, constitutionally granting Innocent until proven Guilty.
Yes, the man was attacked. Yes, he sustained injuries. Yes, a large group of rampaging teens DID attack him and his wife. Nothing ALLEGEDLY about it.
Only those "teens" that were arrested deserve to have the label "allegedly". And yes, ALL those teens filming with their camera phones are accessories to the crime and should be investigated.

That's horrible and I hope the kids learn from this. E-bikes have certainly given some of these kids the courage to act like thugs. Assuming he did egg them on, it never warrants a violent reaction like that. What a horrible start to life, and I pray for those kids to find the discipline and respect needed to be a part of a good community.
Misdemeanor for throwing a bottle to someone's face? That could've resulted to grave physical injury or even death.

it's because there are NO real consequences for kids who do crimes. If you do adult actions, you need adult accountability, simple as that.
