In 2024 the width of Terran R was modified from the original design to more closely match that of Ariane 6. Terran R's planned maximum payload to LEO exceeds that of a 4-SRB Ariane 64, and probably will also exceed the future planned liquid-fuel twin side-booster partially-reusable version of the Ariane 6. Is Relativity Space focussing on Arianespace as being its primary competitor? This is a very interesting rocket, and I hope to still see the first launch happening in late 2026. Is Relativity Space expecting to meet the next Mars launch window in November and December 2026, for the Impulse Space mission to Mars?
