A while ago I made some perfectly clear ice using a cooler, and I thought it was pretty cool. There were a lot of comments though, that said I could have saved a lot of time and effort, by just boiling the water, so I’ve decided to test that out.

Is this guy Harry Potter?
Why does the white thingy form up inside the ice?
Add potassium
Mayby if you dont use heavy water😅
Bhai aapko saaf Pani use karna hai
Tq
There are some clear spots in the unboiled ones
I thought he said the people who commented are all really ugly😅
Because boiling water creates air bubbles with steam up, but put it in a core one take away some of their bubbles. The balls for ice is just because the hole if you have the hole let's air bubbles get inside
god knows what will happen if this man accidently became the PM.
Missed oppurtunity to smash cut to a "Myth Busted" screen lol
you used water instead of dihydrogen monoxide
Hi im new to the channel😊😊
I love how instead of using a normal stove to boil it he used that thing
Icy Murderer
yo Nike you must’ve done it wrong cuz it always worked for me altho I never boiled it I js used really hot water and stuck it in the freezer like immediately
Ice valley
Water expands when solidified. Thats why most ice isnt clear.
Holy crap✝️✝️
It never gon freeze cuz its boiled its boiled its boiled ay
Ehrm akchurhulley you can make clear ice by just kissing it goodnight before sticking it in the freezer
This is probably the nicest way to call them all idiots. Lmao 'boil out as much air as I can' had me chuckling, that's just absurd. It just has to freeze slowly.
Nile really said, your comment is flawed so shush and let me cooked instead of you getting cooked by me further
i listened the same advice years ago as it seems to prevail on the internet for some reason. people love to just share tips which they didnt even try themselves
Bro is Hitler for Ice cubes
"You want me to put the hammer down?"
"I used boiled water to make the ice faster, so I let them sit in the freezer for 2 days."
Love it.
Basically all water that isn't like lab- purified will contain some dissolved elements , just like all air contains some nitrogen and whatnot. .. cool video though, I particularly liked the hammer at the end
Everyone who knows something about bartending is aware that this is a myth
"boiling it removes the air" 🤦🤦🤦
The only way the boiling would've done anything was if you than froze it in the same container it was boiled in. Even if the argument about boiling held (which honestly, I'm skeptical about to begin with, but I haven't thought about it enough) the act of pouring the water would immediately reintroduce air in
Boiling isn't going to get the dissolved gasses out. You need to put it in a vacuum.
>he let it cool first
pffft
It's the automatic thawing and freezing of a frost-free modern freezer that did it to you! Freeze it for like 3 hours and then check it.
