Sweet Nisha, you’ve done it AGAIN! 😍❤️ I just made this exquisite dish, and oh my goodness, words simply cannot do it justice! The tofu is beautifully crunchy, and that creamy, luscious sauce is absolutely DIVINE! 😋 I like mine extra saucy, so I took your advice and added more cashew milk, and let me tell you, it was the BEST decision! I mopped up every last drop of that heavenly sauce straight from the pan with a lovely slice of sourdough bread. Not a drop wasted! 😂❤️ Now THAT’S what I call a perfect dinner!
This beauty is definitely going into my regular weekday rotation! 🥰
Bless your gifted hands and your beautiful heart, sweet Nisha. Thank you for sharing your magic with us and making our kitchens and hearts a little happier with every recipe. You never disappoint! Sending you so much love and gratitude! 😘😘😘😘🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
Pro tip to get your normal tofu firmer: Put it in the freezer, let it freeze, then defrost and squish. This was an absolute gamechanger texture wise for me!
This recipe looks so good!
Question: where did you get your apron? Can you provide a link?
You have helped me improve my cooking so much over the years, I regularly cook an assortment of your recipes from Big Vegan Flavor, and you continue to bring such positive energy to the act of cooking, thank you!!!
I have a suggestion for you to make the actual cooking easier, and even more so, cleanup afterwards. Replace the single-burner gas cooker with a single-burner induction portable cooktop, you will have much better control of cooking temperature, and more importantly, much better indoor air quality. Plus the smooth ceramic top looks much better and is super easy to clean.
This was amazing! I used actual paneer as I had some on hand and coconut milk in place of cashew milk. Very easy to make!
I made this except I replaced the peas with Kale, and used coconut milk instead of cashew cream, it was SO good 5 stars!
yum! i’m going to make this later this week 😋😋
As someone whose spice tolerance is in the negatives, how hot is it 😅 it looks so good and I’ve been wanting to try a tofu dish!
I really love all your thanks giving recipes. Could you also make a vegan Christmas meal episode?
Would cornstarch be ok in place of the potato starch? That's the one I always have on hand.

I was just thinking two days ago if I can make an Indian curry dish with my tofu. Are you psychic? 😭This is the second time this has happened. Amazing lol. The Universe has spoken
Did she use a measuring tape to dice the tofu ?
I trust everything i make from you. They all turned out delicious. Can you do Dhokla or something similar?
Making the tofu extra crispy specifically so it holds up in the creamy masala is such a clever little detail! 😍 And I love the idea of using cashew milk for richness without having to get the blender out!
Hi Nisha, I am trying out the crispy tofu method you taught in this video this morning. It is baking now. Yum! Thank you! PS: I love the idea to throw a whole cinnamon stick into the onions.
Can't wait to add this into the rotation! Thank you again Nisha for all that you do! Your recipes are the best!
