This aged like milk😂😅
So glad this did not turn into reality.
Xd
so in 2026, after we have iphone 17 series, do you think that magsafe has become advanced enough, Marques?
laughed about this back in the day, Apple tells the EU when to change NOT the other way around
5:15 the iPhone 17 still has a port…USB-C
Me encanta que hablas de cosas que la mayoría ignora
Spoiler they did make a usbc Iphone
This aged well 😂
MagSafe can do 25 W now but yeah the 17 ended up still having a port and they use it well. you know, external SSD Prores.
Ik it’s crazy but I miss the lighting port. 😢
lets gooo USB C
mate it would be a nightmare having no port at all
5:26 this didnt aged well im watching this on my iPhone 17 with USB C
Honestly, my take on the whole thing, is literally what he said towards the end of the video about technological advancements, and how something better is bound to come out, maybe a USB type D, how Apple may surprise us and come up with a proprietary port, that is better than anything, I mean, you never know. Well I honestly think is gonna happen is that yes all devices are USB-C now but the Americans will move on to the next best port or cable, while people in the EU may be stuck with USB-C for a long time.
This aged well
What’s funny is that Apple now touts USB-C as a major feature for their iPhone product ads on their website. At least they did for the 16e product page. They always knew it was better for their customers to have a universal port but their greed will always take priority over doing what’s best for the consumer.
No portless iPhone yet…iPhone 17 is out…but maybe they’ll still eventually remove the port 😳 they just need to make MagSafe do data transfer somehow
This didn’t age well. We have usb c still
Missed the mark on this one
Who’s watching this in 2025 using an iPhone with USB-C port 😂
The real reason is that apple has no backdoor but android does but main reason is having a type c charging port your phone is easier to hack to top it off If the police wants to go through your phone they can’t With the older models but from 15 up were fucked 😂
2:45 this aged like milk😮💨
This video didn’t age well.
Me watching this on my iPhone with a usb-c port 👀😅
⋈ MKBHD in 2022: iPhones would soon go portless
meanwhile…iPhone 15 in 2023: hello USB-C!
& iPhone 16 in 2024: not one but 2 new physical buttons! 😂😂
So the iPhone 17 air is the awsner, called it 2 years ago
Watching this on my iPhone 16 pro max with a usb c port
This aged like milk. Apple went to to usb c . We all won
The best reviews.
So if they get rid of the port, they better make sure that Wireless data transfers are instant!!
Well that aged poorly
Took them long enough to go from laptop to phone
iphone got usb c now
Tbh I hope they remove it
Thankfuly Apple went striaght to USB C with the 15
Gran video y excelente audio en español. Gracias
Well, here we are in April 2025, and the iPhone 17 lineup is just around the corner. But honestly, looking at how things are going for Apple—with the struggles around Apple Intelligence, the tariffs from China (even though Trump eventually eased up)—I doubt it'll come without charging ports.
Greetings from Peru 🇵🇪!
This aged about as well as Courtney Cox
Didn't age too well
I’m so glad MKB was wrong 😂
This aged terribly lol not even close😂😂
I remember when people said the iphone 15 had usb 2.0 speeds instead of 3.2 like the iphone 15 pro purely because the 15 had a chip from an older non usb-C phone. Well its the iphone 16 now and they still have usb 2.0 transfer speeds. Kekw another thing for apple to milk on the "pro" moniker.
damn this dudes all about power for the cooperations
This video aged like milk
I understand that Apple's lightning cables were originally based on a clever form of USB 2. They were advanced for that time, but time has marched on and the current problem is that an old but proprietary cable still makes money for Apple.
A long time ago Sony refused to give up their proprietary cables and connectors for the same reason, time (and the customers) marched on for them as well.
you were so so so wrong
