The Kenny G Episode | Friends Keep Secrets

Kenny G, our parents made love to thee. Honestly the smooth jazz station they did it to would not even exist without Kenny G. This man still practices 3 hours a day, he still has the hair, and today he woke up at 5:15am just to get his workout in before he came to our house. He can hold one note for half an hour without ever taking a breath. Does it require this level of unbelievable intensity to be this smooth? Or is this merely a man who has never truly tested his limits? Dave intends to get to the bottom of this, and many other things, on today’s episode. Thanks for watching us hang out with Kenny G. We respect you!

  1. 25:33 😅😅😅 hahaha they trying to tell Kenny G with OCD… this new generation lol hahahahaha the man’s been doing this for years…and he’s still doing it at 70. It says something…he loves what he does and he enjoys it so it won’t be tired..I’m sure he takes breaks…but I can see their concern for him…but Kenny G keep doing what you’re doing…it works for you.

  2. Kenny G is one of the world best saxophonist. Also he has the most #1 hits. I grew up listening to his music when I was 8 years old and actually went to his concert back in summer 2013 I actually bought 2 front row and row 1 tickets center to see him perform also they had autograph signing in the end I brouht all of the cd I have and had him signed it. It was the best ever.

My favorite songs 🎷 by Kenny G
    – Going home
    – Midnight motion
    – Northern lights
    – Song bird
    – Loving you
    – Tango
    – Sentimental

  3. Didn't Dave buy Kenny G's house? Why are they pretending like they dont know each other?

Edit: I guess that doesn't necessarily mean they know each other.

  4. 😂😂the short guy must relax abit when he speaks forgot his name,Selena'$ husband…he sometimes gets too excited n talk mon stop without breathing 😂😂😂…love him dzoooown

  5. The fact that this show isn't your traditional podcast with a bunch of mics set up in a studio but just a "come over and kick it at the crib" is genius. Whoever came up with the idea, well done… I'm sure were going to see many more people following this podcast trend style.

  6. I am glad to hear Kenny still practices three hours a day. Any great musician still has to practice to be in top form. Chris Botti said the same (3-4 hours per day) about practicing trumpet.

  7. Pucker your lips on the tip of you finger and make an airtight seal. Now fill your cheeks up with air like you're blowing up a balloon. Because you'd made a seal, the air doesn't go anywhere. Keeping your cheeks full of air, slowly practice inhaling and exhaling with that air in your cheeks. When you get the hang of how that feels, begin letting a small amount air past your finger using that stored cheek air, don't push air out from your lungs, just from your mouth. Immediately while doing that, inhale a deep breath. Practice that, and you will get the hang of circular breathing.

  8. American shows often feel carefully staged, even when they’re trying to come across as genuine.Take Kristen, for example. She’s always placed opposite the guest, which gives her this detached, almost clinical observer’s role. It makes the guest feel like they’re being watched from a distance.
