I worry about all the people, myself included, who have trouble standing in line. My rollater just broke the other day. The metal of one leg broke. Not twisted, broke.
I have one number. 34%. 34% of all voting age Americans still approve of this administration.
Now, regarding the run-away inflation and the usual fixes… Demand driven inflation can indeed be fixed with increased rates. However, structural inflation likely caused by this administration’s reckless use of tariffs will not be fixed by that. People are already cutting their drive time to the minimum due to fuel costs. Same will go for heating. Electricity costs are axploding because of data centers and the fact that this admin halted all alternative energy projects such as wind farms. Water is scare so utility costs are increasing. Not from extra demand. So increasing interest rates to curb demand will not make a dent on inflation.
