I would pull the lever and try tk untie the person but it will be quick because its only one person
If you see people on the train tracks and there's a train coming to pull the people on the train one of the train tracks and then just pull the lever to make the train go on the other side

What reduces the trouble is to stop turning off your mind. Just talk to the lawyer, stop talking, pull the arm, and save the person.

Its horrifying how little people value individual rights. The law is morally right in this case. Doing nothing is the only moral response, otherwise you are a murderer, NOT a savior. Its immoral and disgusting so many ppl think they can interfere and murder under the delusion that 5 lives are worth more than 1. Youbdont have a right to activel murder someone, not even to save the world. If the 5 die its an act of nature, or someone else is to blame if they set it up, or forgot their job to make it safe. This video show the basic flaw in our legal system
When you pull the lever you're killing someone. You are the one choosing to sacrifice that person who was safe and not in danger in order to save the other 2 people. That one person probably doesn't like you choosing to kill them to save 2 other people.

Flip the switch when the train is halfway through, wiping everyone, as well as derailing the train. After the crash, make sure no witnesses are left. You are in the clear.
This is basically the same dilemma faced by men if they see a small child in danger. Run the other way and your fine. But touch the child and you run the risk of lots of legal problems, even if you saved its life.

If you see someone in danger you don’t legally have to help them unless you’re in a vehicle or wearing a uniform that signifies your a first responder or your the reason why they are in danger
What about carry the person
Pull the lever and quickly save the one person on the other track? (Before the train)
Let the front of the the train go first and pull the lever after three ppm dead and no witnesses
Btw if you do something that make less people die but still like 1 die to save 5 its murder no matter what (i guess)
