  2. We just bought the whole set in Osaka a week ago! It is a great set, but have you tried putting the lights in the coaches? It's the most difficult installation I've seen so far from Kato!

  4. I'm so glad you've added the 10-car TGV Sud-Est to your amazing collection. I can see why it's always been one of your favorite trains, and it will undoubtedly be one of the jewels in your collection. The locomotive and coachwork design, and the livery, are stunningly beautiful. Love the iconic locomotive face. Once again, KATO's attention to detail and build quality make it a joy to behold, whether at rest or traveling around the track. I loved seeing it fly around the tracks at 21:00. And, I agree, it has great motor and track sounds. I wish you many years of joy running this train. Arigatougozaimasu for brightening my day with this exciting unboxing and running video. TGV Sud-Est really hits the mark on so many levels. I'll look forward to watching your next train adventure! ✨

  6. Great re release. Hopefully, Kato will re release the Reseau tgv. Any chance you could run a Eurostar ? Would love to see that. Especially on the elevated section. Great videos. Keep them coming. All the very best from Simon in the UK. 😀😀😀👍

저는 동일 모델 80? or 90?

Kon'nichiwa, chū – chū travel-san. 2Tsu no pantagurafu ni tsuite ikutsu ka jōhō o otsutae shimasu. Saisho ni ageta pantagurafu (daburubou to yoba rete imasu) wa, 25000 V no senro to kōsoku senro-yōdesu. Saigobi no dōryoku-sha no pantagurafu dake o agereba yoku, sorede jūbundesu. 2Tsu-me wa 1500 V no chokuryū senro-yōdesu.

  11. Oh what a pleasure to see the kato TGV running in 10 cars composition. The model is astonishing, kato is really a master when producing train replicas (and I have their japanese trains in my collection and futurd layout). This TGV is the union between Japan and Europe, I love it! I heard many times the sound of a TGV passing at 300Km/h and it is the same of the kato model. Amazing! Thank you choo choo train!

  12. 4:20 Yes TGV-PSE(Paris Sud Est) or 23 000 series are dual-current (1500V DC /25kV AC 50Hz).The left pantograph is for DC, and the right is for AC (it's a "二段式関節型パンタグラフ"/pantographe articulé à double étage).

The last 8 trainset built was tri-current (add 15 kV – 16 ²⁄₃ Hz and now 16.7Hz) or series 33 000, for running in Switzerland.

Under DC current the 2 DC pantograph on the 2 motor car are used. Under AC only the rear motor car AC pantograph is used.

All TGV have a technical name "xxxxxx series" as trains in Japan.

5:30 The PSE ,Eurostar E300 and KTX-I are the only TGVs with semi-distributed traction. The first car after the power cars (R1 and R8) are powered (visible by the the ventilation grille). It's because in 70's ,for PSE (conception date) we can't reach 6500kW with 8 motors….We need 12 . The control system are choppers. For KTX and Eurostar, it's because it's a long trainset with 16/20cars ,and 8 motor are too few,12 is better.

5:55 Dieppe is a little city in Northwest of France, in Normandy. Some trains in france have a city coat of arms/blazon.

6:14 Yes it's the "Bar car" /"la voiture Bar"

The TGV PSE was a shock in the train world, faster than Series 0 ,a totally new architecture (articulated bogies),new aerodynamics ,and a flashy orange livery easy recognizable.

And yes i already have receive my kato model (the 10 car set )😂😂

  14. TGV Sud-Est
