“The animal’s wildness must be respected.”
Actor and animal welfare campaigner Peter Egan joins Kevin O’Sullivan to discuss the fatal tiger attack described in the interview—and question the safety and purpose of zoo enclosures.
Egan expresses sympathy for the man’s family while challenging how a visitor could reach a dangerous wild animal.
“How was it possible that this person could get into this enclosure with such ease?”
The discussion turns to barriers, public protection and whether keeping wild animals as visitor attractions puts entertainment ahead of their welfare.
“They are all animals that are not designed to be in an enclosure.”
Kevin argues that the tiger should not be blamed for behaving naturally, while Egan calls for greater respect for animals’ wildness.

People in West also keep these magnificent animals as pets in their homes and apartments. I think such people are demented and thus there is serious regulatory failure of governments regarding wild animals in Western countries putting the lives of innocent people and animals in peril.

Mental health is real. William had mental health problems.
The Safari park and the tiger did nothing wrong. Your expected to behave responsibly when attending. If you can't do that you shouldn't go. This man went to a lot of effort to get into this enclosure. He didn't fall in by accident.
The reason these parks stay open is because they nearly went extinct. There are now 500 in the wild. The female tiger has proved successful in producing cubs. Its conservation. The enclosure is 2 acres with a man made waterfall, thats quite large compared to other parks.

This is 100% the man’s own fault. If this man is so fragile and so mentally ill then why is he allowed to walk free in the first place? It’s like he has the mentality of a toddler and if that’s the case, he should never have been allowed to walk around in public by himself.
I don't understand white people,if a ma jumps in a zoo because of his stupidity, they will blame someone. If a girl have sx willingly, they can say she was raped.
