A Canadian hasn’t been the headliner of the Super Bowl halftime show in awhile so it would be nice for one of our own to be on the Super Bowl Halftime stage especially right now after the US president continuously threatened my country’s (Canada’s) sovereignty and insulted not 1 but 2 Prime Ministers by calling them Governor’s.
So a Canadian artist being the headliner at the Super Bowl halftime show essentially in today’s political climate means a lot.
