I had the opportunity to get another Reevo, the world’s worst E-Bike, so I had to take advantage of the chance to dive in once again. No surprise here – the bike is still terrible, but could it be made better? I went through the hubless abomination and made a work order of everything I could find wrong with it.

I wouldn’t even pay $50 for it. It’s not even worth that in usable parts.
And, I get why you say 'It's a piece of bicycle history; it's special!', but my counter offer is that there are many more ways of making a dysfunctional bicycle than there are of making one that, ya know, works. In fairness, it's probably a better attempt at being a bicycle than some early attempts at the electric car were at being a car.
I saw the initial frame of the video and my immediate reaction was "That's just stupid!"
Well if push comes to shove you could always put spokes in the middle of the hubs.
The bike is self aware, that is why it tries to enter the self destruct mode as often as possible.
In a way, this reminds me of the whole Big Ha bikes. They actually gave themselves an appropriate name.

Stainless steel screws would be even worse in aluminum than mild steel. When pairing metals you want to pair similarly reactive metals. Aluminum being more reactive and stainless being very unreactive. It would cause rapid corrosion of the aluminum. Another note is that the more anodic metal will experience corrosion faster so the threads are being damaged more than the screws which already look terrible.

About the winning noise, it is law in several states that a e/v vehicle has to make some noise to notified pedestrians about your presence. Car have it it disable over 20 miles .

I think its really awesome how he got into the controller of the bike. I recently bought a electric moped from a moped sharing conpany that went bankrupt. I want to unlock some features that are not available anymore. Does anyone know where someone could learn these skills?
