This is just a bunch of dry ice, and it’s basically just solid carbon dioxide. What I think is interesting though is what happens, if I seal some of it in a pressure chamber, and heat it up.
A while ago, I actually used a similar supercritical CO2 chamber to make aerogel.

I've been starting to worry that someday we'll see NileRed and supercritical in conjunction in a headline instead of a YouTube video…
the chamber absorbed it
Gaquid
Carbon bioxide Is a liquid you make it with vinega And Baking soda
Same thing happens with deep sea thermal vents
Its so crazy to see the liquid kinda of "disappearing" all at once 🤯
It is not a liquid or a gas.
Ahhhh, taco bell fart super state.
Its a rememberall
Ponder thy pressure chamber.
I'm so glad you invented alchemy those few years ago Nile, it's made for great shorts 💜
The planet Venus actually has kind of a “sea level” – below a certain altitude the increased pressure makes the carbon dioxide atmosphere supercritical.
The Russian Venera space probes descending to the surface just cut the parachute loose when reached the “sea level “ and sank slower through the supercritical CO2 to land softly on the surface.
Sublimation (Solid to Gas)
Nothing like some refreshing liquid CO2 in the sun.
Can this be done with liquid nitrogen
Sometimes I wonder what supercritical or triple point stuff feels like.
Imagine showing this to a middle ages peasant
im high af and this shit is like a fkn christopher nolan movie outta here
❤️
This is happening to my brain as it visualises switching between isothersms
What a beautiful thing science is ❤

Yeah, sometimes when I'm on the toilet, I experience something that's kind of a liquid and gas at the same time
