The highest-rated C-dramas from October are finally here! 🔥
Tan Songyun’s “Against the Current” takes No.1 with an impressive 9.0, but surprisingly, a mystery comedy came incredibly close to overtaking it.
Li Xian’s “A Prophet” also stands out with its unusual mix of mysticism, folk beliefs, and suspense, landing at No.4. Ren Jialun’s latest drama also proves that his recent genre shift may have been the right move.
Even more impressive, several dramas in this Top 10 are already strong contenders for some of the best C-dramas of 2026.
If you’re looking for something new to watch, this ranking should make your choice much easier.

Abyss was a very enjoyable drama. Ren Jialun's acting was superb and he hold his place among veteran actors.
I heard Wang Kai is not in The Long Watch drama very much.
I have rewatched "Against the Current" 3x now. Who else 😂
