At room temperature, gallium is completely solid. However, it has a super low melting point of only about 30C (86F), so in a bowl of hot water, it should completely liquify. As a liquid, it kind of looks like mercury, but it’s not nearly as toxic, and it’s much safer to hold in my hand. However, it is a lot messier and tends to stick to things, and it leaves an annoying residue.

"Here i have some galium, and at room temperature its completely solid"
*Throws it with the anger of his life and watches it roll down with agony
people used to do a prank where'd they'd give someone a spoon made of gallium instead of silver and when they'd put it in their tea the spoon would melt into it
"Here i have some Gallium, and at room temprature, it's completely solid."
DUAR DUAR DUAR
But… I want to play with cesium.
Seeing how much gallium has in common with mercury I would not be handling it in your hand… And i have seen school teachers that would hold mercury in their hands like you do with gallium… Mercury dissolves aluminium when it comes into physical contact with it… So does gallium and it melts at body temps higher then 86° F… I would not trust people that claim its safe too touch… heck there are people that said mercury was safe.. some said it could be used as a laxitive some put it in dental fillings some put it in imuno globulins too make vaccines and inject it into the body others used it for floresent lighting and others insisted on puting it in mercury switches air pressure gauges and even hospital mercury thermometers some qould even shove where the sun didnt shine and others droped and broke that would comtinate homes and doorways in childs bedrooms… I would not trust gallium either when it reacts with aluminum too disintegrate it the same way mercury does.
Am I allowed to own it?

Nile is also completely solid at room temperature 🌡️
I wonder what would happen if u were to swallow it
Drink it.
I need this! I love the Gallium Element!
Bro india my country the average temp is 42 degree Celsius
Can we use this On Holi festival 😅
Don’t let your husband forget that he had some in his pocket in a little container… then let the dummy send it through the wash…. On the bright side, a Mr clean eraser is really good at getting off the dispersed gallium metal film that coats both the washer and the dryer
I never had Chemistry in School… I never thougth I missed out on something… until I found NileRed…
