So, do I get it right? Trump and Netanyahu start a war with Iran. Netanyahu withdraws and let Trump do the heavy work. Then, Iran won the fight. Trump knows no way out of his psychology and therefore destroys the economy of the US in the end. Is that it?

Here's the funny but ugly point… guess how much a gallon of gas costs in Iran. It's under one dollar per gallon. And if you're thinking, "yeah but what's the standard of living like? " I can tell you with confidence that Iran as a whole has at least as high as the US , probably higher. Iran is not some third world hell hole. And they are far from obliterated
Sadly Trump is so mentally ill that he cannot admit ever losing, which is why he is still chasing the 2020 election like Ahab after Moby Dick. It would take a far better person than him to say this was a mistake and we lost. But then, a far better person wouldn't have pulled a sneak attack while negotiating for peace. That is what Japan did at Pearl Harbor and even then they meant to send a declaration of war first, but messed up the timing. I cannot imagine that Trump, Hegseth and the rest of these losers would ever consider doing even that much.

I suggest, Ana, that you stop using "we" and "our" when referring to U.S. government imperialist actions throughout the world. The political work that We the People need to do to restore democratic governance is better served by referring to the government as "they" and "them." Just my two cents.
Iran has no animosity toward its Muslim brothers in the Gulf States, what's at issue are those Gulf States allowing the U.S to set up military bases on their soil from which attacks are made against the Iranian people. If the U.S pay war reparations for their criminal attack and murders, lift their sanction and pack up their military toys and go home, there can be immediate peace amongst the Gulf states and the opening of Hormuz. Stay strong Iran..

America needs a statesman. What they have is a mediocre Real Estate tycoon. He has no idea how diplomacy works. Who keeps on changing his assertions. And he heads a world power. Pity America. Pity the world. The economic strangulation of Iran that Trump plans, will meet the same fate as his military adventure. He has put himself in a dire political situation. A statesman would have swallowed bitter pills and cut his losses. There is no denying that Trump mishandled the situation. The gamble that a surprise a track on Iran, and successfully taking out top most senior Political and military heirarchy , would achieve the desired results, failed miserably. But people must know it is just not Iran fighting back. China is a prime backer. With Russia helping out the best it can. Both countries provided the essential intelligence for Iran's counter measures. Both countries provided accurate satellite targeting. This led to eradication ofAmerican bases in the Gulf. And who is going to replace America in the oil rich region – China, ov course. Trump pushed China out of Vanezuela, China pushed Trump out of the entire Gulf. China now expands in West Asia. It is going to use countries of the region to form one bloc and face their enemies. Makkah Pact between Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and Pakistan is one. This Pact is going to expand. Trump fell victim to his arrogance. Xi won through pragmatism. Trump is now desperate. Xi is riding high. The world will be seeing radical geopolitical changes in the next ten years. America's and the entire West's role will recede dramatically.
This is a war on the House of Islam.
Unfortunately for the west this is not WW one.

Your analysis was wrong. China reduced its oil demand because its economy is in a severe recession. The cheap Iranian oil they stored was being depleted and replaced by oil at market prices. In addition, a significant amount of oil has been redirected via pipeline. While the blockade is strangling Iran, the amount of oil leaving through the Straits has continually increased. Since you seemed to be confused about the purpose of the conflict. Let me remind you. This administration has continually stated the purpose. 1. eliminate the nuclear threat. 2. eliminate the supply of terrorist proxies. 3. eliminate the production and the use of the ballistic missile threat. You must concede these objectives have almost totally been met. The disruption of the Straight is not a critical issue for the US. It is an issue for the rest of the world and world prices. America is the ONLY nation capable of addressing this issue. You can come to any conclusion you choose. This is America. However, you should at the very least be accurate.
