The unfortunate fact is that Darlene Graham is absolutely unqualified to hold public office as a US Senator, and I think that voters know that.
Ohioan here: Vivek Ramaswamy thought he could simply buy his way into the governorship. He is absolutely tone-deaf about the fact that a lot of Ohioans are fully aware of his being duplicitous jerk whose idea of "governance" is closing state colleges and mowing down a third of Ohio to put up AI data centers. Ohioans are also getting sick of the millionaire/billionaire class running things and not getting any of the promised benefits from it.
JD Vance is absolutely a slimeball and always has been. So is Jon Husted. In all of Husted's attack ads, Sherrod Brown is referred to as "Senator Brown" even though he is not currently a senator for Ohio. That's because Husted found out that Ohio voters polled didn't even know that he was the incumbent senator. So he assumes that everybody is stupid and words his advertising to make it seem that Brown is still a Senator. Slimeball.
