The University of Michigan Board of Regents today announced Dr. C. Cybele Raver, currently serving as provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at Vanderbilt University, as its choice to become the university’s 17th president. The Board will hold a special meeting on Sept. 1 at 11 a.m. to take a formal vote. Pending approval, Raver’s appointment will take effect Dec. 1.

I thought HE was the new President! Why not introduce HER at the message! Weird—
So they're announcing her and sgned her to a contract before a formal vote. Seems odd.
Everyone in Michigan knows that's the guy from the 1-800-CALL-SAM billboards, so no real confusion about the thumbnail.

Looking forward to seeing her invested. (SMDT Ph.D. Ethnomusicology 1997) #goblue
Vanderbilt University Medical Center is getting someone from University of Michigan for a leadership role. Does that mean there was a trade? 😂
Well, I think she has to be voted in first and that’s why they do not show her.
I expect the DEI madness will only continue. GO BLUE! Go elsewhere for donations, too.
Exclusively a creature of private universities.
So where is she????
Very, very tacky to present a video with leading picture of a man when you are making an announcement that is for a woman.
Good hire 😊
Let’s see her change the culture of DEI that dominates Ann Arbor. Start by reversing LSA no grades for freshman policy. Leaders and the best! Go Blue.
And you use a photo of a man to announce this, which is misleading, and could minimally include a photo of her!
No social engineers please who promote “gender fluidity!” Let’s hope that this isn’t the new nominee’s intent.
GO BLUE!!
Ugh, no more women in leadership positions.
Go Blue!
Go Blue!
Go Blue!
