UB40 – Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain

Music video by UB40 performing Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain. (C) 2013 Virgin Records Ltd

For all things UB40:

In the twilight glow I see her
Blue eyes crying in the rain
As we kissed good-bye and parted
I knew we’d never meet again
Love is like a dying ember
Only memories remain
Through the ages I’ll remember
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Now my hair has turned to silver
All my life I’ve loved in vain
I can see her star in heaven
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Someday when we meet up yonder
We’ll stroll hand in hand again
In a land that knows no parting
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Someday when we meet up yonder
We’ll stroll hand in hand again
In a land that knows no parting
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Blue eyes crying in the rain

  2. My uncle was a huge UB40 fan, he introduced me to reggae music and UB40 a while ago. A week ago he passed away after a year-long battle with cancer.
This was his favourite song, everytime he played it he smiled just by listening to the intro, sing along with it and kept telling me how it puts him in a very good mood. This song makes me think of him and the good times we shared together. May your soul rest in peace uncle Gogo, I love you so much!
Someday we will meet again "in a land that knows no parting." 🖤

  3. Sag mal: Bist Du bescheuert? Dein DÄMLICHES Übersetzungsgelaber während des Songs zerstört den ganzen Song. Für so einen Mist gibt es ein Dislike von mir.
