Experience a full U.S. Air Force F-16 test flight from the back seat at Edwards Air Force Base.

This is the flight from a front-facing cockpit perspective, putting you directly behind USAF test pilot “Hash” as we fly an F-16 with the 416th Flight Test Squadron.

From an unrestricted max-performance takeoff to the Sidewinder low-level route, 9G manoeuvring, 50,000 feet and breaking the sound barrier at Mach 1.58, this is about as close as you can get to experiencing the flight yourself.

The mission includes:

– Max-performance unrestricted takeoff
– Taking control of the F-16
– Sidewinder low-level route
– Barrel roll
– Auto Ground Collision Avoidance System (Auto GCAS) demonstration
– 9G manoeuvre
– Climb to 50,000 feet
– Breaking the sound barrier twice — Mach 1.58 / 1,300+ MPH
– Tower flyby and landing at Edwards AFB

The flight was conducted with the U.S. Air Force 412th Test Wing and 416th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base as part of the Full Throttle documentary series.
