Steak 'n Shake has been cooking with beef tallow for quite some time, and their burgers taste great! I did not know they were cooking their burgers with a microwave. Our location uses a stove range to cook. Cooking with a microwave is definitely not as good as cooking on the stove.

Trying to convince someone that beef tallow is "healthy" is pretty funny. It's AWFUL for you! I'm not saying seed oil is better, but come on, olive oil is the healthy choice. Actually, not eating fries is the REAL healthy choice. Eat some broccoli instead!

This will help the beef industry by making another by-product, tallow, more utilized. Also, it tastes better. The orininal French fries, made in Belgium, are almost always fried in beef tallow.
Beef tallow was what was used long before seed oils and vegetable oil. Much better for you. Tastes better too!

I love the new steak and shake. I've quit going to the big three burger joints because they use seed oil which tastes terrible and I don't buy for a second that seed oil is better for you.

I went out of my way to eat at one back when they changed their oil to tallow. The fries and food were very good. I do wish though that they were not shoestring fries. I vastly prefer a larger size to my french fries.

That’s kool and all , I’m still not eating there due to the fact that they have a “tip option “ ,, I’m not tipping for fast food that I had to order myself on a touch screen , also if them 40 yr old losers working in the back finds out I didn’t tip ,,,,,they’ll spit in my food , what’s healthy about that ?

There is one near us in Branson Missouri and I visit them from time to time. They make a great classic patty melt and their milkshakes are awesome!
Fryers say Tallow is used in place of lard. Great for carnitas.
