  1. There was a bloke whose whole life was 💩 but he kept telling himself it wasn’t.

He kept pulling 💩 birds and wondering why they were all fat. Then one day he looked in the mirror and realised there was a fat bloke staring back at him looking like 💩

He wanted a beautiful house, but then looked around at where he actually lived. A 💩 rented room in a 💩 part of town.

So he went into work and asked his manager for more money. His manager laughed and told him his work was 💩 and that if it didn’t improve, he wouldn’t be getting promoted. He’d be getting fired.

    And that was his epiphany.

He realised he could spend his life pretending he deserved fit women, a beautiful house and a big promotion while everything he was actually doing was 💩

Or he could finally tell himself the truth.

    My dating life is 💩
    My home is 💩
    My work is 💩
And right now, I’m full of 💩 too

That wasn’t giving up. That was the beginning.

Because once he stopped pretending he was already something he wasn’t, he finally had a truthful starting point from which to improve.

He got himself fit. He improved his work. He earned more money. He moved somewhere better. His life stopped being 💩 because he first had the courage to admit that it was.

You don’t rise by pretending you’re already at the top.

Sometimes the first step upwards is looking in the mirror and saying this is 💩 I’m better than this, and I’m going to change it.

  2. We all know where the problem lies at Spurs. It's not the fans, the managers, or the squad. Nothing is going to change at WHL while the Lewis family and ENIC remain in charge.

  3. I see the De Zerbi meltdown has started properly as well – this will get worse before it gets better, cos this team doesn't have the maturity of fortitude to take the Tough Love approach

I just cannot understand why Spurs held onto the purse strings when they had managers who could effectively wield a chequebook, but are now making it rain on this temperamental clown
