If a judge allows this to proceed when the property is clearly outside their city limits then the judge needs to be removed.

The land is Zoned for commercial use.
Data centers are a commercial enterprise.
It’s not even in their city! Legally they have zero jurisdiction concerning their neighboring city.

It’s less about what one can do in one’s property limits and more about an appropriate buffer for heavy industrial use next to homes, whether of your residents or your neighboring residents in adjoining property limits. Indeed, it is being a bad neighbor. Whatever the zoning, clearly the houses existed first; any planning should duly take that into account. I'd question if the proper environmental impact studies had been done – taking into account the tracts of land, not ignoring what’s beyond property lines. Proximate is proximate, regardless who owns it.
Data centers polute at least 30.000 gallons of water a day. Its another Hinkley!!! Erin Brocavich knows about these centers. The water will end up in the ground and in our water. Be it our wells or city water. It ALL come from the same place!!!
