What If You Doubled in Size Every Hour?

What if you doubled in size every hour? At 6 a.m. you’re 5 ft 7 in. By 4 p.m. you’re a mile tall, and by sunset you’re as tall as Mount Everest. In this animated what-if story, you outgrow your house, your school and your whole town, carry your dad (and the house) across the state, and race the sunset to find the only bed on Earth big enough for you.

The doubling is fiction. The science around it is real: the square-cube law, thin air at altitude, why the biggest animal we know of lives in water, and why the sun sets later when you’re higher up. Sources below.

Where would YOU sleep if you were a mile tall? Tell me in the comments.
