Why is it that Russians have windows on the sail of some of their submarines? and the reason those windows don’t crack under extreme water pressures, is #NotWhatYouThink #NWYT #shorts

What have Russian submarines and Windows OS in common?
As soon as you start opening a window the shit hits the fan.
It's possible to make glass windows which don't crack even at 10,000m under the sea.
Great information
Russian submarine spent a significant amount of time above the surface of the water, because of constant engine failure and nuclear leakage
Polish submarines have screen doors
They know they are about to die, so they watch the fish through the windows to give them peace before the end comes.
So its basically an just enclosed conning tower.
To see?
So they can throw out miscreant crew?
"…si a tu ventana llega una paloma…" 🎼 No te confundas que es un pingüino 🐧…
Los rusos para subir a la superficie, o subir periscopio, deben saber si hay o no, hielo arriba.
Ese problema es muy raro para submarino de EUA
They have windows, so crewmembers not following party line could jump out of It if KGB/FSB political officer decides so.
Because it's too difficult to throw oligarchs from the hatches.
So they can see where they are going😂😂
Russian submarines have windows because they don't use Macs, and they don't run Linux. {;-)
good
Older class US boomers used to have "ports" in the "dog house" also. You couldn't see much out of them.
Why is it British subs are always in dry dock getting repairs
I hope NATO sinks all those submarines with windows.
🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
Turns out it was exactly what I thought it would be.
Russian submarines also have screen doors!
по крайней мере на подводной лодке не страшно утонуть в шторм)))))))
The fact that women serve in the American army and navy is simply ridiculous and monstrous! I know they're even allowed into the special forces, but their bones and joints can't handle it. Nature itself resists the stupidity and arrogance of American women. And the military, too, who allowed it.
The bathyscaphe that descended into the Mariana Trench had a porthole. Its 11km of depth. Why few hundred meters will crack those wich on sub?
Cool!:)
I was in military during the cold war. We were on a troop transport run on a navy ship, in the south china sea. We were a loan vessel and ill be damn if the captain didnt call general quarters and all personnel man your station. A Russian sub surfaced about 2 or 3 hundred yards off our port bow. They ran parallel to us for some time. They raised the USSR flag and two officer were on top looking out of the hatch at us with binoculars. Ill never forget. They had their rusky hats on. We were all shitting bricks.
They want see, where they are.
Because American submarines have Linux
It was exactly what I thought
Russian submarines operate in terrible surface conditions so being able to navigate in a protected cabin is a sensible option
Might be a modification that Canada should consider as they are planning to have their next submarines built for them instead of just buying second hand. Canada is expecting to use the submarines under harsh Arctic conditions too… Of course, cameras might be a simpler solution now, especially if they adopt the video wall command centre approach of the new Japanese destroyers that are structured to use half the normal crew size. Australia is also purchasing those new Japanese destroyers though Australia doesn't have the same critical population decline as Japan has.
So they can see from inside was my first thought. I really didn't think it was for plants or a tanning room.
To see USA submarines coming.😂😂😂
I think Italian 🤔 submarines had window's too in ww2 and Japanese, both large long distance subs ❤😊
It’s because Russia is an ancient civilisation rebranded countless times. The USA is pretentious child that at one time had the cream of European competition against monarchs that have died out but left a bunch of babies in charge
So they can see out of them…duhh. Time saved: 55 seconds. You're all welcome
Pavel
Cuz murican subs have iOS?
