I used to have a condition in childhood where I sometimes was over-sensitive to touch. I was having a breakdown over feeling clothes and things I sit on. I couldn't ignore feeling the blanket before sleep. Random touch from an item was driving me crazy. It was TERRIBLE.
I guess this goes the same for breathing. It kind of bothers me when I’m fully aware that I’m inhaling and exhaling, until something or someone gets my attention away from it.
I often stop feeling most parts of my body in addition to the clothes on them :3 Starving because I don't have a biological clock and forget to look at the physical and digital ones while drawing or writing or gaming is not fun! 😀
Yeah not me.. I've always had issues with tags and seams. Probably part of being neurodivergent. I can say that certain materials will fade away. The blanket I sleep with does "disappear". The thing touching me must have a certain texture, weight/pressure, and temperature/ability to dissipate heat. Otherwise, if it's scratchy or uneven or too hot or too cold, forget it. I won't be able to have it touching me.
Ha.. yeah I can feel my socks 80% of the time. I damaged the nerves in the bottom of my feet so the top of my feet is far more sensitive then they used to be
I always feel my clothes and I can tickle myself. It's why I generally go for tight clothes because if I'm already going to feel my clothes I want to ensure my clothes move with my body

I was wearing neither pants nor socks.
What does your brain feel when you're not wearing any clothes 😅
I can never not feel my clothes…
Omg I am SO glad someone else said this, the fact that things dissapear if I look at it for too long. At night, this gets so creepy😭
I feel my socks all the time. I hate it.
Bold of you to assume I can't tickle myself
BECAUSE I CAN
Thank you! My socks are very placid right now! 😅
Much like My Tinnitus, its there 24/7 just a dull roar in the background until attention is brought to it then Cue the Locusts!!!
I can tickle myself.
Parts of my foot can't tell if there's a sock on it.
I can feel every pore in my skin individually at all times.
My brain is only aware of my socks when im in bed then yeah they got to go

Wdym? Do normal people not feel their clothes all the time?
For real, though. I'm autistic. And it does get seriously overwhelming.
I always feel my clothes… that’s why I rip them off as soon as I get the chance to

Why can we tickle ourselves on the feet and ribs
Jokes on you I'm autistic and hyper sensitive, I can feel my bones move. And head the muscles in my head
You DON'T?? I feel my socks, bra, and underwear CONSTANTLY.
If I wear anything other than leggings and a breathable, fitted top, I feel those too.
I cast manual breathing!
But… I just put them on
Jokes on you! My tism makes me aware of my clothes all the time.
