With homeownership out of reach, artificial intelligence cutting job prospects and index funds feeling too slow, many young investors are turning to meme stocks, options and crypto to meet their financial goals.

Pump and dump schemes
1:14 this was way too hilarious. 🤣 🤣🤣
i think older generations gambled with our future and lost on purpose (:
That guy complaining about home ownership was in a pretty nice home, as he is sitting on the couch telling us about his generation’s woes. 😂
Home ownership was a rare thing in decades past, previous to let’s say 1970, for young people. Historically people moved around a lot for work and when they were settled down, they were in larger family or supportive groups. Historically young people were broke as $#!t! Young people did not have near as much money as Young people have today. If they did, they would be considered rich by ANY historical standard. I have no clue why this message is missed by the news, documentaries and stories like this. Gen Z might not be able to afford a house, but why would they want one? Being locked down, tied down, is a horrible way to start out making your way in this world. I tell you what is not reported as it should be, and that is the low rate of people living communally, in pairs or groups of 4-6. Some do it, and that is great, but not like back in the 1950’s.
the system isn't working anymore, all employers are greedy and selfish. do you:
a) found a startup, become an employer yourself and act better
b) support those greedy guys and gals by buying their stocks
""Wealth inequality" does not matter! That's a concept promoted by Marxists in order to cause unrest. They do this because they want to break what is otherwise a well functioning economic and political system.
Right so working till retirement and dying when your pathetic index funds pay off is the move? 😂
"a term coined by a podcaster" I may die already. this is it. Whats next? "a concept coined by an anonymous user on reddit", perhaps?
“Experts” who have never experienced a downturn. It’s going to be quite traumatic when one occurs and their money disappears.
So is it true? I don't know any genz people well enough to ask. Does anyone know any gen z kids that are obsessively trading or in deep addiction/debt from sports trading?
This is great. If anyone looks at "financial news" today you will realize that it is run by old people who have no idea. The most clueless Buch of old people in a profession who have cover in that the people who follow them are equally clueless. It’s the equivalent of the televangelist era. It's the perfect space for disruption. If it's going to explode, let's have it spectacularly explode.
Well people are like… let it rot… but not my child… let the rich breed so much like pigs, at one point it will get into inbreeding… we've seen the rat utopia experiment 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Gen Z has a future to gamble? Bro come on don’t make me laugh
1:11 Hollyy Shiii💀 WELL you know what😭🗣️
Economic falsehoods on wage stagnation.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Its fools gold
Though this video is great. especially from a production stand point, I don't think it really goes over how younger people were basically raised to take more risk (all be it like every generation). Quotes like: "You miss 100% of the shots you don't miss" and "Losing 90% is fine so long as you have the 10% winnings to pay for the losses" tend to be an interesting contradiction/connected of quotes.
Yo cambiaría el título y le pondría: Cómo el sistema ha creado 2 generaciones de ludópatas.
I disliked coz of abusive language
I should block
10% chance of making millions and retire early or 100% chance of working 9-5 till your 70 or die
Pretty obvious what were picking
Tell me what I can do as a Gen Z who is going to face all the burdens you guys set up over the years.
The market for investment works but we millenials and the Gen Z also do not have any patience and get influenced a lot by social media
Signs of a fallen society
They are not! Gen Z Is What Nietzsche Warned Us About
‘Cause they got mo choice other than that PERIOD.
What future?????
I know many that tried day trading and went broke. I find hard to believe that these people are making this much money on day trading.
Just another type of scamming, to be fair not so different from the old times junk products door to door sellers or those pyramid schemes
No job but gambling? that doesn't sound right. Too dumb and and willl be broke from these scammers
