Why Your Meeting Times Are Wrong This Week

Why Your Meeting Times Are Wrong This Week! ⏰🌍 Daylight Saving Time 2026 is creating a surprising time-zone difference between Europe and North America.

Europe turned its clocks back on October 25, but the United States and most of Canada won’t make the switch until November 1. That means there’s one confusing week when Berlin and New York are just 5 hours apart instead of 6, while London and New York are only 4 hours apart.

Why does this happen? A US law passed in 2005 extended Daylight Saving Time starting in 2007, moving the autumn clock change to the first Sunday in November. Europe kept its schedule of changing clocks on the last Sunday in October. Meanwhile, Dubai doesn’t change its clocks at all!

If you work remotely, attend international meetings, or call friends and family abroad, this one-week difference could easily catch you off guard.

🌍 Check your time zones before scheduling your next call!
