  1. No sir, I'm going to have to call you out on that one because ALL dealerships are out there to see how much money they can steal from you regardless what type of vehicle it is or if it's for leasing or buying? 8 times out of 10 If they see a woman coming, they're going to take advantage of that and 10 times out of 10 they see a young person coming. They are 100% going to take advantage of that scenario as well. A few years ago my mom at that time She was 77 years old. Went to a dealership to lease a vehicle and they try to tell her some astronomical monthly payment and that was with her putting some money down. Long story short she calls me up and tells me about this so I go up there and everything and their tune did 180° turn. So yes, this woman is pretty spot on.

  2. Well let me say something, going to a dealership you have to br prepare and be tough because those people are not your friends they are going to get the most they can from anybody, they are liars and greedy so be ready

  3. Math is math doesn't matter if you're a woman or man. And you looked at almost 100k truck! What did expect it would be? 500 dollars a month? People make dealerships out to be the enemy all the time! It's called a payment calculator! Use it before you leave your house. If you went to a Ferrari dealership and they told you the payment was 5000 a month would you post a video saying how the dealership was trying to get over on you? No you wouldn't its because you'd be looking at a 350k car! Don't fall for these content creators bs!😊

  4. That's a $95,000 price range vehicle.
Just looked it up at Ford.
So $1700 a month for 48 months sounds about right.
    It's a luxury vehicle.
    The base Expedition is $65,000.
You can get a new grocery getter for half that.

  5. The dealer wasn't doing you wrong and there was no need for you to laugh in the salesperson's face. Math is math either you can afford it or you can't and if you can't you say thank you and go home

  6. Noooo. As a car salesperson. Ford is notorious for inflating their prices and lease payments. They were doing what we call: putting her together. It’s truly and embarrassment to the business. No shame in their game. The one Ford store I worked for got raided by the FBI a fees years after I left, for this and other fishy reasons. If you want a Ford, get a friend to find you a family member that can sell it to you.

  7. A massive part of the REDICULOUS cost of new vehicles traces directly back to our GOVERNMENT mandating a bazillion required safety features we DON'T FUCKING WANT OR NEED, like this passive AI safe driver tech that don't exist but the feds are requiring in all new vehicles starting in 2027! It's the same CRAP mentality we all mocked California for when they tried to require all firearms imprint shell casings with a mark directly tying it to the weapon it was fired by. If we could still just buy a simple vehicle that just involves a frame, body, motor and fuel storage without all the CRAP our government says it HAS TO HAVE these days, we could still be buying new vehicles for $12,000 on average!! TOTAL COST!!

  8. “Ethically”. Let’s get one thing straight, the dealership doesn’t owe anyone “ethics”. Car buying, home buying, etc any kind of buying isn’t run on “ethics” it’s run on profit. If I were a salesman and she asked me to run numbers “ethically”, I’d give her a crazy high number just to get her out of my face, because I think she came into it wrong in the first place. We all know the game, you’re not gonna change the rules just so you win easier.

  9. The payments are that high because there are people dumb enough to pay that. It also sounds like that's the top of the line vehicle. Nobody needs all that useless luxury. Nobody needs a brand new vehicle either. I'm good daily driving my 48 year old F250.

  10. Why is everyone talking shit to her about getting rid of her paid off vehicle for a high lease payment when she said she was going to go test drive a vehicle ask for the numbers and leave guys do it all the time why can’t she. Stop making shit up

  11. Maybe I’m missing the point. I agree with everyone saying to keep your owned car until the wheels fall off. 100% agree. But if someone needs a new car, and you want to lease a new one, 1700.00 a month for any kind of Ford is absolutely Highway Robbery! I can easily afford that each month but would never ever lease that vehicle for that much a month!!

  12. There is what I can afford and what I want to pay. I decided on a Mustang GT and half the payment I could have carried. I didn't want to be car broke.

  13. First mistake is to ask for monthly payments. That should be the last thing. The question only let's them know that you don't know what you are doing.

  14. Explain the part where you are entitled to a brand new vehicle with all the amenities. Then explain why you NEED a brand new vehicle with all the amenities. Then look around you and notice how many people your age own a brand new vehicle with all the amenities. Now you have something called “perspective” which is easily as valuable as that paid off, less than ten years old vehicle you are currently driving. Keep the vehicle you have. Start saving for a down payment. Buy used. A car is for getting places; not for impressing people.

  15. It’s not gender based.
A dude would get the same offer.
Keep your Expedition as long as possible and put all your effort in paying the mortgage.

  16. Buying packages is stupid if you can modify it after you purchase it that's the cheapest option usually. When I got my Corolla during COVID I asked how much it would cost to add the hard rocks for putting surfboards on and I did the math over the life of the loan it would have cost me $1,700 bucks for a $300 pair of roof racks…

  17. No matter the cost… you know a 2026 any fucking thing is an unreal number to drop down on. I don't care if it's $800 a month on a broke down Ford. This economy has got you gased. Buy a used Toyota Tacoma or 4runner. Take those extra G's you'll save and drop it down on some silver and gold. You WILL NOT regret this. Stop chasing the neighbors and do your own thing… soon you will be in the spotlight when your neighbors $1000, $1200, or $1500 car payment or house payment blows up. This fake ass looking world is about to end for many. If you are stuck in a debt based payment system like… mortgage, car payments or mother fucking Rent A Center, you will regret it… along with paper bullshit assets like stocks and bonds or cash in the bank. WAKE UP, DO YOUR REASEARCH… YOU ARE CLOSE TO LOSING EVERYTHING!!! Your choice is… you have none.
I'm considering a channel to drop knowledge, but 99% of people could give a shit. So why should I?
    God. That's why

  18. I will take this woman is an idiot for 1000$ Alex

    48months x $1700 is $81,600

You might have worked in a dealership at 16 but you didn’t learn what a lease is. That is 110% the payment to purchase it over 48 months.

Still insane to pay that much for an Explorer though.
