This fight was phenomenal! I always wondered what a fight between Pyrrha and Yang would look like, now I finally know! I also really like that at 6:16 the song (such arrogance) plays signifying that in this alternate universe this is Yang’s character development moment like when she lost her arm in the original timeline. Awesome job!!
This is the kind of fight that shows why technical precision vs barbarian rage will always be a close matchup. I imagine that Pyrrah's aura, had they shown it, was probably not much above the red either at the end.
UGH!!! I wanted this fight back in the day SOOOOOOO BADLY!!!❤ I wish it was actually done before they killed my girl off. RIP Pyrrah. Srill my favorite character.
Wow this fight was SO good. Really had a good flow and like they were pretty evenly matched, even felt like you guys researched their fighting styles to make the fight feel more authentic, so cool.

Yang's eyes bother me a bit, but stellar work regardless!
Pyrrha has a spear and shield. Yang uses power gauntlets.
Neither have power kicks like Mercury. Most of the key hits are from above the waist.
Yet both fight and use legs like normal martial artists instead of footwork positioning for the upper body weaponized delivery blows..
3:05 Pyrrha viced her legs on Yang's right side for a bear hug flip throw, but Yang rolled off without full impact, before the suplexing counter .
The point is that non weaponized leg / kick attacks were easily blocked.
RWBY fan content in big 26? with this level of quality, care and attention? With a beautiful homage to the early season fight choreography?

this why i fell in love the classic battle style (volume 1-3). Volume 4+ just completely botched the show. It seems they didnt envision Monty's battle style till the end.

This felt like the old rwby animations, brought back a good sense of nostalgia. And this is like a good timeline where Salem and Cinder weren't being little shits. Love it
