❤️ Joseph Loved Jesus as His Own
The Holy Family was Mary, Joseph, and Jesus.
But Joseph was not Jesus’ biological father.
And that matters.
Joseph was asked to accept something he couldn’t possibly have planned for himself.
And he said yes.
He accepted Mary.
He accepted Jesus.
And he gave himself to loving, protecting, providing for, and raising the Son of God.
Fr. Anthony described St. Joseph with one beautiful word:
Humble.
Joseph didn’t need biological fatherhood to give Jesus a father’s love.
He simply embraced the family God entrusted to him and gave them his whole heart.
❤️ Family is built not only through biology, but through faithful love, sacrifice, protection, and presence.
