Guys, I struggled with this when I first started, but, I PROMISE you, keep plugging away and keep up the practice, and you WILL get it. Keep playing my friends
Wtf i got the barre f first try, thank you
I feel like the B chord is worse
I wanted to do guitar to impress my crush
.
I should've sticked to floweds
The F-Chord is the Devil, im sure of it..
What if I can’t do any of them? 😂
I think I should use the cowbell from now on
That was easy. 3 minutes in and I had them down. Okay, I'm trolling…
Ukulele>Guitar
Great video! I have been struggling with the F chord for years. I just accepted my fate and stuck with the final version you showed, as i thought the first bar chord was too hard for me. But the way you explained and demonstrated it really made it click for me. Thanks very much for your help.
Best wishes from Bonnie Scotland 🏴
I've been subscribed to your Justin Guitar app for a few years now and just happened to come across this video on YouTube and my brain was very confused for a few seconds. I mean, it sounds like you. But who is this young dude talking. 😂
You've come a long way my friend!
Thank you for this guide! Sometimes you just wanna play things in standard tuning.
I fell in love with alternate tunings because my hands are pretty small and I find bar chords super difficult. I love DADGAD (aka Celtic Tuning) and DADDAD. Celtic Tuning/DADGAD is used by Hozier, Nick Drake, Iron & Wine to name a few. I was introduced to DADDAD by Laura Marling, it's in a number of her songs.
The toughest and envious
I CANT REACH IT
More like the F*** chord
How about the D shape a few frets up the neck? Everybody can play D shape.
Ok I can play the barre chord, but how can you play it without white knuckle death gripping the neck and without it hurting after 60 seconds?
And that glorious moment you get the right sound of the whole 6 strings, then you realize you gotta switch between it and other chords 🥹🥹🥹
Toooooooooooooooooooo hard 😮
F means fu*k😂
When doing the first one shoudl your finger be on the metal thingy or next to it
Wow this is an old video lol, you're still a kid!
When i try to play this, my middle finger always mutes the 2nd string. The position ist just so weird…
Best help with f chord. Instant follow
Thanks, this helps so much! I feel like I sorta knew some of these things, but it helps a ton to hear you mention them, such as the bit about saving high notes for the chorus.
And I'm currently stuck on figuring out a first line, but this video helps me focus on what to do.
Been playing the F chord like your second one for ages, but only just realise that sometimes I hit the E note. Now I am trying to dub it with my finger but having trouble.
Struggled for ages with this one, practicing and practicing, figured I'd just have to avoid songs with the F chord (the expletives write themselves, hey?) until one day I found a song I liked (Pirate's Life of all things of course) and it required a capo on 5. For whatever reason, something in my fingers and head clicked and I was able to do it.
Keep practicing everyone!
And thank you, Justin. You were my first teacher and I've learned a lot from you. Still have a ways to go on my journey and many many other rite of passages to clear.
I am accusing you of witchcraft.
After trying out the barre F, I can play the oldschool ( it's the one my teacher wants me to use ) much easier and no pain??
Is this a blessing
I shall worship your guitar videos forever.
Subbed.
