Every day another kid on an e-bike makes the news. Teach them defensive driving or don’t give them one.

It's not the fault of the drivers if the lil' turds aren't abiding by signs or are riding in the middle of the wrong lane. Stay out of the gd streets.

You have kids riding fast scooters and drivers who are oblivious. The combination was bound to cause this.
Sensationalism. Keep your children and pets out of the street! Bikes and scooters are not the problem. The fact that they are battery powered or assisted is irrelevant. Unaccompanied 9 & 10 year olds (and pets) playing in intersections is. Charge the parents for negligence.
Guess what? KIDS are RETARDED and are NOT EDUCATED in the LAWS of the ROAD. In the video of the girl that got hit on her motor-scooter, she had CLEARLY run a Stop sign and blew right out in front of that car. This is a PARENTING problem. If you BUY your CHILD a MOTORIZED VEHICLE and then just LET them LOOSE on the ROADWAYS–without TEACHING them how to RIDE SAFELY–guess what's going to happen to little Johnny… and little Maria??? Why are people letting CHILDREN ride this vehicles? They are vehicles. NO ONE should be riding an E-Bike WITHOUT some basic training on how to use them. BASIC SAFETY should be the first thing they are taught before they ever get on the bike.
