the following six months after 9/11 is the most this country has ever been united. fast forward 25 years later, we are literally divided into two sides without and ounce of open mindedness. it’s a shame that trauma was needed to make us feel united. buts it’s an even bigger shame how fast that bond dissipated.

It is surprising that so many of these comments talk about how “in hindsight he was a great president even though they loathed him while he was in office.” People, you’re doing the same thing right now. Trump is so hated that he doesn’t only get death threats, there has been many attempts on his life. Abe Lincoln (very first republican president) was literally killed by the likes of y’all after winning the civil war and preserving the union. Even Reagan was shot at even though he he is the president that brought about the fall of the Berlin Wall. Republican presidents are assassinated or hated at a much higher rate for they actually leave a positive impact on the country. But is always “in hindsight” 🙄
I didn’t like Bush, in fact I think he gets off easy with the passing of time. But I miss the time when even the unlikeable Presidents were still presidential.
I was a sophomore in highschool. When we heard of the first plane the whole school was glued to the TVs. The whole world stood still that day.

I seen documentaries from National Geographic about JFK assassination , Oklahoma City bombing , the tsunami that affected more than just Thailand in the Indian Ocean and hurricane Katrina National Geographic does a good with these world wide disaster docs

президента специально поместили в детском саду, перед операцией, чтобы народ потом не возмущался не той реакции или не тем действиям. Все продумано до мелочей, главнокомандующий сидит среди 5-тилетних деток в идилии (картина прямо противоположенная той, что разворачивалась на манхеттане в это же самое время). Если бы в момент взрыва он находился на рабочем месте или это было бы в воскресенье, когда он бы играл в гольф на вилле у одного из своих богатеньких дружков, то реакция народа на реакцию президента в этот экстремальный момент могла быть совершенно иной.
