The Ford F-150 Lobo brings aggressive street-truck styling and the unmistakable appeal of a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8, but does it deliver enough performance and value to justify its price tag? In this review, we take a closer look at what makes the Lobo stand out, where it falls short, and whether Ford has done enough to compete with a growing wave of factory-built performance trucks. From driving impressions and design details to pricing, features, and real-world value, we’ll help you decide if the F-150 Lobo is a worthy addition to Ford’s lineup or a missed opportunity in an increasingly expensive truck market.

  1. I bought a 26 lobo for 52k out the door, love the truck! I do not find it searching for gears, the truck drives and shifts great, it gets decent fuel mileage for a V8 and it handles great!
And the Ram truck he mentions is just Butt ugly!

  2. Nope I still prefer my Powerboost which looks similar but is really fast and gets great mileage and I love all my included options such as dual zone AC, Pro trailer and hitch assist, Blue cruise, and adaptive cruise control.

  3. i can hear it searching for gears constantly. That is super annoying while driving. Leaf spring drop brackets is how they lowered it in the rear since it has leaf springs, which in 2026 is kinda questionable. Love the looks. Don't even hate the loss of amenities. Terrible execution and Ford pricing is not helping. Ram offering 100k/10 year warranties. Hurricane all day.

  4. lobo can be bought already supercharged for 65k over 700 horses that is cheap compared to other offerings, add leather katzkins a better exhaust, leather steering wheel for 68k its a rimger.

  5. If ford adds all the extras everyone expects anymore the price climbs and then everyone complains about price 😂 can't make everyone happy.

  6. I like my 2026 lobo drives great feels good been driveing fords for work last 28 years n personal use from 84 ranger 07 f150 2010 f150 13 ,22,so on.its a good truck sounds great goid feul milage curently work truck is 2023 f150 3.5

  7. I sort-of like the lack of options and electronics, manual A/C, no sunroof, old school tailgate. Hello 2009! It's less to break later down the road. But the price is silly. This should be $50K at the very most, including destination and fees. As always, great review!

  8. I agree with what Ford has neglected when packaging the Lobo — at that price, it does feel rather average to drive …unlike the Maverick Lobo.
And yes, all trucks and cars are overpriced now.
Manufacturers and their idiot shareholders are going to get their margins nicked sooner rather than later.
I’d love to see at least one American manufacturer make a genuine effort to deliver value for money …surprisingly in the last few years, Nissan has been playing its cards right.
Toyota might still have some of its reputation left, but buyers are shopping around before deciding on a Tundra or Tacoma. Even RAV4s are having their lunch eaten by Mitsubishi Outlander PHEVs and the new Subaru Forester HEV.
And the Armada is certainly poaching many customers from other full-sized SUV brands.
    C’mon America …be great again, please 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
