Could you make a video with a specification walk through
My specification didn't specify BUT it does say to the BS7671 Wirings Regulations, so if you read Reg 553.1.5 (i) it states "the connection of an eletric clock, provided that the plug and socket-outlet are designed specifically for that purpose, and that each plug incorporates a fuse of rating not exceeding 3 amperes complying with BS 646 or BS 1362 as appropriate." Obviously the programmer has an eletric clock so I took it that you need to use a 3AMP fuse.
I found this after the exam but put a 3AMP fuse in cos I honestly couldn't sleep as I was pretty pissed off lol.
I just did my AM2S and it did NOT specify the size of the fuse! I asked the assessor and he said “you are expected to know” I was so angry! Can’t believe it!

Could you do a talk through video on this like you have recently on lighting circuits, break it down?
As the S-plan controller is on the side wall and connected using PVC conduit. I found it easier to 1st use the fish tape to get my length, then cut I think 5 Brown 1.5mm2 (don't quote me on that) singles and with a sharpie identify each one with a simple ring on each conductor 1 ring, 2 rings and so on. This made it super fast when identifying end to end for final termination. I used brown, as the connections were a switched line, thus power transmission. READ THE SPEC!!!!
Ahh yes, the moment you walk out the room. and think was that 5 or 3 amp i jammed in there…..
On an AM2 assessment would you expect to see Insulation Resistance measured L-N, L-E, N-E and record the lowest of the Earth tests in column 19 of model forms or L-N, L&N-E?
Had heating engineer try to teach me. Gave me hard time for using 1mm, said it's on 3amp fuse. All the the rest using 2.5mm breaking the box's. Over sleaving the CPC. Don't let plumbers teach electrics.
