NEW G-SHOCK 2500 CasioNaut — CasiOak Successor?! 🔥

The NEW G-SHOCK 2500 Series — also known as the “CasioNaut” — could be the next big G-SHOCK of 2026. In this video, I take a closer look at the GAC-2500, GMC-2500 and GMC-2500D, including the design, technology, Module 5757, price and release date.

Is this the CasiOak successor we’ve been waiting for? The new G-SHOCK CasioNaut 2500 brings a completely new fully analog design, a cushion-shaped case, Magnetic Hand System and the unique Multi-Mission Date display.

In this video, we take a detailed look at everything you need to know about the new G-SHOCK 2500 Series:

⌚ G-SHOCK GMC-2500D
⚙️ Casio Module 5757
🧲 Magnetic Hand System
📅 Multi-Mission Date
⏱️ 30-minute stopwatch
💧 200M water resistance
🔋 CR1025 battery
💡 LED illumination
🕐 Fully analog G-SHOCK design
💰 Japan pricing
📅 November 2026 Japan release
🌎 International & India availability

The GAC-2500 is the resin version, while the GMC-2500 brings a metal-covered design and the GMC-2500D features a full stainless-steel bracelet.

One of the biggest talking points is the new Magnetic Holding Structure, which allows the hour and minute hands to move under heavy impact rather than being rigidly fixed. The 2500 Series is also unusual because it is a purely analog G-SHOCK, without a traditional digital LCD. 

The Japanese prices currently listed are ¥20,900 for the GAC-2500, ¥37,400 for the GMC-2500, ¥39,600 for the gold IP version and ¥49,500 for the GMC-2500D, with Japanese tax included. At the current exchange rate, that works out to roughly ₹12,900, ₹23,100, ₹24,400 and ₹30,500 respectively — but these are only direct currency conversions, not official Indian prices. Casio Japan lists the release timing as November 2026. International and Indian pricing and release timing have not yet been officially announced.

The internet has already started calling these watches “CasioNaut” because of their cushion-shaped case and resemblance to the design language of the Patek Philippe Nautilus. The nickname is unofficial, but it has quickly become the name watch enthusiasts are using for the 2500 Series. 

Is the CasioNaut the next CasiOak? Or is G-SHOCK creating something completely different?

Watch till the end and let me know:

Would you buy the G-SHOCK 2500 over the CasiOak? 👇
