The Manifest girls no longer live in Turkey. They moved to London to expand their international presence, and I believe they’ll be performing in certain countries in the future.

Manifest is rapidly making strides toward global success; they have already surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, and right now, we are all looking forward to their concert at Wembley, London, on October 16th. 🙏
The group was born out of Big5 Türkiye, a YouTube-broadcast talent reality competition aimed at building the next generation of Turkish pop icons. Out of thousands of applicants, the selection jury—which included Gülçin Ergül, a former member of the iconic 2000s Turkish girl band Hepsi—originally planned for a five-member group but ultimately added a sixth member due to the high level of talent.
After completing rigorous multi-month training in vocal performance and complex choreography, Manifest officially debuted on February 7, 2025, with their smash-hit single "Zamansızdık" (We Were Timeless), which garnered over 12 million streams in its first few months. Their meteoric digital rise led them to feature on the cover of Cosmopolitan Türkiye in March 2025 and catch the attention of Rolling Stone magazine, which praised their fierce stage presence, commanding choreography, and unapologetic femininity.
Albums and Musical Style
On June 13, 2025, Manifest released their highly anticipated 11-track debut studio album, Manifestival, which debuted at number one on the charts in Turkey and Azerbaijan. To support the release, they hosted their own two-day music festival in Istanbul called "Manifestival," selling out over 25,000 tickets—a rare historical feat for a newly debuted local group. A deluxe version followed in September 2025 featuring heavy-hitting collaborations with major artists and producers like Motive, Arem & Arman, and AYDEED.
Lyrically, the group focuses on themes of women's solidarity, collective empowerment, and modern youth culture. Rather than relying on traditional radio or TV promotion, Manifest built its massive following almost entirely through digital streaming and social media, collecting over 400 million total streams on Spotify by late 2025.
Into 2026, Manifest continued their streak of mainstream dominance with solo singles like "Daha İyi" and a historic collaborative track titled "Hileli" with the legendary "Superstar" of Turkish pop, Ajda Pekkan.
The Members
Manifest operates under a strictly egalitarian structure with no designated official leader; instead, each member highlights her own distinct color, background, and artistic strength:
* Sueda Uluca (Green): A communication design student known for her edgy energy, sharp visual identity, and powerful leading vocals.
* Hilal Yelekçi (Purple): A computer engineering student from Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ), admired for her highly disciplined performance style and analytical approach to complex choreography.
* Lidya Pınar: A student of Russian Language and Literature and a former competitive professional figure skater, bringing unique grace, stamina, and smooth rap transitions to the stage.
* Mina Solak: An Arts and Cultural Management graduate who serves as a core visual anchor and creative force for the group's aesthetic identity.
* Esin Bahat: A professional dancer and absolute performance dynamo who infuses high-voltage energy and athletic choreography into live shows.
* Zeynep Sude Oktay (Zoktay): A Public Relations and Advertising graduate who manages a strong connection with the fans and handles much of the group's digital PR strategy.
Controversy & Public Impact
Manifest's bold, modern imagery hasn't been without its hurdles. Following a massive 18+ restricted show at Istanbul’s KüçükÇiftlik Park on September 6, 2025, the group faced legal scrutiny and a brief investigation regarding their provocative stage outfits and mature choreography. While the ensuing controversy led to the brief cancellation of a local tour, the group took full responsibility for their artistic expression and redirected the conversation into organizing female-empowerment workshops, continuing to stand tall as the definitive voice of the new generation of Turkish pop.
