Banned Footage | Inside the Amish Secret World

For 200 years, time has stood still in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, home to the Amish. In a world driven by progress, they remain an enigma—rejecting technology, modern conveniences, and even the simple act of being filmed.
After months of negotiation, a few members agreed to share their lives, revealing a world of strict traditions, unwavering faith, and secret struggles.
From forbidden desires and hidden hypocrisies to the rebellious youth experiencing Rumspringa, this deep dive uncovers the complexities of a community torn between devotion and the temptation of the modern world.
What happens when faith collides with reality?

  1. Это то как жили люди дольше чем города. С другой стороны это Терновка для воспроизведения патерна общества. Кто выжил то выжил таково правило этого мира

  2. I live in the out skirts Lancaster, and there all first class people not angels a few years ago bunch of them got busted for dealing with Cocaine and that's a fact

  3. They get a bad rep. While I don't necessarily agree with everything, but for the most part, their lifestyle is awesome and I love alot of how they live. All the things we think they are missing out on like tv etc, human history lived this way. All this stuff is new. Just a little over 100 years ago. There is good in in of course but the damage it does is insane. The addiction and what it does to the brain. In many ways, they are a lot more free. Number one would be that they are believers in Christ. Oh and how they make food! ummm 🥰

  4. Всем привет. Я надеюсь на мой коментарий обратят внимание. А первую очередь , я хочу получить ответ на мой вопрос Амиши , это государство в государстве Америке ? Это секта , или община. Кто нибудь может мне дать ответ?

  5. Lovely peoppe. The only thing id say is that Jesus gave us a big commission.. to preach to the world and share the gospel, deliver people from demons, heal the sick and baptize and make disciples.

And thats just not possible when we isolate our entire community from the world.

Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit to empower and counsel us in how we can live among the world whilst not being part of the world. Its not easy, but God sustains us.

  6. There are some good things that religion does. Unfortunately, these are off-set by the 10X bad things it does to individuals. The very things the Amish teach, they violate. Their subjugation of women, is especially heinous. If "pleasure' is banned; how do they have sex? Do they beat themselves, afterwards, for having sinned? "Rumspringa" is the height of sin.

  7. It's Ah-mish; Not Aye-mish. Get the very basic sh*t right, OK? It's "more restrictive" to be a free-thinker!? Oooooooo kay!!!! She's totally conditioned to not question anything; even her own oppression. Music is "sinful"; but, singing is OK?? How does that track?

  8. I think that the Amish make it easier for themselves. Less temptation obviously if you entirely separate yourself from the everyone else, right? Quite smart actually. No watching killing on T V or porn on the Internet. No buddies from outside of the church tempting you to drink or smoke or whatever… I get it!

  9. Shunning family members simply because they don’t want to live like pioneers isn’t the love of Christianity. God is love and Christ wants us to love all people, including those who want to wear pastel colored clothing or ride in a car or take a trip in a plane or turn on an electric lamp. Shunning is a technique used by cults, even a seemingly nice cult because the members work hard and do good deeds. But no one is saved by doing good deeds; the Bible itself makes that crystal clear. Rather a person is saved only by trusting that Christ’s death on the cross has paid all the penalty due to them for their sins, thus freeing them to enter heaven. Trusting in Christ alone means we don’t need to follow any form of legalism. Instead, in gratitude to God for His gift of salvation to us through His Son, we love Him and we love others.

  10. Gosh, these girls seem a little religion blind. I have much in my life that I consider blessings from our Lord, but I’m also going to Heaven because Jesus Christ died in my place, took MY sins upon him, and took my judgement.
As much as I respect how simply these people live, I don’t have to use a kerosene lamp and drive a buggy in order to be saved. We are saved NOT by works, but by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!!

  11. To me, the Amish are the gold standard for how we should all be living, as Americans. They see everyone as people, not a category.

The big bang theory is a lie. How is it that everything gets created from nothing, but then the evolution hardliners also say that energy and matter cannot be created from nothing? Lies. And that is how an RBMK reactor explodes, lies! "Every lie we tell, incurs a debt. Sooner or later that debt must be repaid." -Prof. V. Legasov

Hollywood, politicians, wall street and the mass media have become a system of lies. Like the Soviet Union, they will inevitably crumble. It's a question of when, not if.

  12. I don't blame them for not wanting to keep up with the 21st century. There is so much violence and crime associated with technology alone. If anything were to happen to our technology in the 21st century, most people would be in a difficult situation.
