THIS is Why You’re Addicted to aespa – KISS N TELL

I’m breaking down aespa’s Japanese comeback ‘KISS N TELL’ and looking at the music theory, composition techniques, and production details that make it one of the catchiest songs of 2026.
From the D flat Major pentatonic scale in the chorus to the clever use of call and response in the pre-chorus, I dissect step-by-step why I think this bright, bubbly house track gets stuck in your head from the very first listen.

  1. Hear “bury the light”. And u won’t want to hear anything else. Heard it during just after covid. If u didn’t already then go ahead and check it out. Dmc special

  2. Usually the bubblegum pop songs aren’t my favorite in kpop, I don’t hate that genre but it’s just not my preferred genre. I got into aespa bc of their intense and dramatic songs like Drama and Armageddon but Kiss N Tell actually surprised me so much and it’s one of my fav aespa songs now 😭

  3. i just love the vibe of this song, in a sense it feels like twice one spark or babymonster supadupaluv, these songs that are melancholic yet happy i guess longing is the word?I cried to all of these songs they have that "we are disbanding lets give fans one last gift, they have that goodbye we know you are sad we are to but cheer up baby we and you are all going to be fine, fuck me im crying rn bc prettyt girls told me i will be ok

  4. I've been a fan of aespa since Black Mamba. The only thing I can say is that I wish they went back to the KWANGYA concept, and technically Kiss N Tell did that. I love all of aespa's songs. Also, are you a piano teacher???? (444 viewer, 4th comment, 49th like, and 9,756th subscriber)
